visite &#8220;styl\u00e9e&#8221; de l&#8217;une des premi\u00e8res synagogues du &#8220;Royaume de France&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Entre style Baroque, Troubadour et Art D\u00e9co, la construction de la Synagogue de Nancy s&#8217;\u00e9chelonne de 1784 \u00e0 1934.<br>Construite sur les plans d&#8217;une \u00e9glise traditionnelle, une nef centrale baroque d\u00e9cor\u00e9e de marbre et de lustres en cristal \u00e0 laquelle on a ajout\u00e9, fin XIXe, les bas cot\u00e9s et une avanc\u00e9e frontale (les vitraux y sont d&#8217;ailleurs tr\u00e8s repr\u00e9sentatifs du style troubadour (m\u00e9di\u00e9val revisit\u00e9) qui s\u00e9vit \u00e0 cette l&#8217;\u00e9poque), la fa\u00e7ade, quant \u00e0 elle, est d\u00e9sign\u00e9e par Alfred Thomas en 1934 et ajoute \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9difice son petit cot\u00e9 styl\u00e9 Art D\u00e9co.<br>Cette synagogue a la particularit\u00e9 d&#8217;\u00eatre la premi\u00e8re \u00e0 \u00eatre autoris\u00e9e par Louis XVI en 1784 dans le royaume de France, juste avant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.histoiresgalantes.fr\/blog\/2016\/01\/18\/une-synagogue-tres-stylee\/\"><strong>celle de Lun\u00e9ville <\/strong><\/a>dont la construction fut plus rapide, toutes deux ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 construites par l&#8217;architecte  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.histoiresgalantes.fr\/blog\/2016\/01\/18\/une-synagogue-tres-stylee\/\"><strong>Augustin-Charles Piroux <\/strong><\/a>(1749-1805).<br>Initialement discr\u00e8te au fond d\u2019un jardin bordant les remparts de la ville, elle est d\u00e9sormais enclav\u00e9e et litt\u00e9ralement \u00e9cras\u00e9e par des immeubles et des tours construits dans les ann\u00e9es 1980.<br>Merci
