militaires le plus actif lors de l&#8217;horrible massacre de la Saint-Barth\u00e9l\u00e9my qui fit plus de 30 000 victimes.<br>Voici les statues de marbres qui ornent son mausol\u00e9e commun avec celui de sa femme Catherine de Cl\u00e8ves.<br>Les c\u00e9notaphes en parfaite sym\u00e9trie, se font face et se r\u00e9pondent dans un savant effet de &#8220;jeu de miroir&#8221;.<br>La chapelle du coll\u00e8ge des\u00a0j\u00e9suites d&#8217;Eu qui abrite ce mausol\u00e9e est command\u00e9e par Catherine de Cl\u00e8ves qui y fait \u00e9lever le tombeau de leur famille 36 ans apr\u00e8s l&#8217;assassinat de son mari, mais le monument fun\u00e9raire ne contient pas les restes du duc de Guise qui furent jet\u00e9s dans de la chaux vive juste apr\u00e8s son assassinat \u00e0 Blois, le
