triste histoire de la statue du po\u00e8te Nicolas Gilbert"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Erig\u00e9e en 1898 sur la place de <strong>Fontenoy-le-Ch\u00e2tea<\/strong>u en Lorraine, cette magnifique statue repr\u00e9sentant <strong>Nicolas Gilbert<\/strong>, po\u00e8te lorrain pr\u00e9curseur du Romantisme, fut r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par la sculptrice Marie-Cl\u00e9mentine de Rochechouart duchesse d\u2019Uz\u00e8s (dite aussi Manuela).<br>Cette \u0153uvre d\u2019une rare femme sculptrice, assez rare pour le souligner, rendit hommage pendant un demi-si\u00e8cle \u00e0 l\u2019enfant po\u00e8te du pays, c\u00e9l\u00e8bre au XIXe si\u00e8cle aussi pour sa triste fin\u2026 (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.histoiresgalantes.fr\/blog\/2018\/06\/03\/mal-aime-je-suis-le-mal-aime-2\/\">\u00e0 lire ici<\/a><\/strong>). <br>Cette sculpture fut malheureusement d\u00e9boulonn\u00e9e et fondue comme tant d\u2019autres sous le r\u00e9gime de Vichy en 1943 et fut remplac\u00e9e en 1753 par une statue financ\u00e9e par le colonel Oscar Gilbert, parent du po\u00e8te, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par l\u2019Union artistique de Vaucouleurs.<br>\u00ab&nbsp;Au banquet de la vie, infortun\u00e9
