href=\"https:\/\/www.histoiresgalantes.fr\/blog\/2020\/11\/27\/catherine-de-saint-aubin-pastelliste\/\">une illustre fratrie d\u2019artistes<\/a><\/strong>), \u00e0 tel point qu\u2019il r\u00e9dige un ouvrage fabuleux sur l\u2019art de la broderie.<br>Comment broder en paillettes, en ronde-bosse, en guipure, tout y est expliqu\u00e9 en d\u00e9tail, il n\u2019y a plus qu\u2019\u00e0\u2026 <br>(en ligne sur gallica voir l\u2019adresse en bas de l\u2019article)<br><strong>Charles-Germain de Saint-Aubin<\/strong> a suivi la voie toute \u00ab brod\u00e9e \u00bb de son p\u00e8re et se donne le titre de \u00ab Dessinateur du roy \u00bb \u2013 en broderies et dentelles \u2013, ce que personne ne conteste.<br>Il est nomm\u00e9 premier de sa profession et r\u00e9serve sa production \u00e0 la <strong>maison Dufourny<\/strong>, maison de dentelles de la Reine, pendant 10 ans. <br>Germain, sa fille Marie-Fran\u00e7oise, et son fr\u00e8re Auguste dessinent aussi de nombreuses robes de cour pour <em>Galerie des Modes et Costumes fran\u00e7ais<\/em> (1778-1787).<br>Hyper actif, le brodeur du roi s\u2019\u00e9puise entre son travail\u2026 et sa ma\u00eetresse (une jolie Lorraine dont je
