Cinq ans apr\u00e8s son d\u00e9c\u00e8s, un article du Magasin Pittoresque<\/em> (1847) rend hommage \u00e0 la femme peintre, Mme Vig\u00e9e-Lebrun<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cet article raconte l’anecdote d’un souper “grec” que Mme Lebrun et son fr\u00e8re avaient organis\u00e9, cr\u00e9ant la d\u00e9coration avec quelques draps, quelques vases et beaucoup d’imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Paris \u00e0 jusqu’\u00e0 Saint-Petersbourg, on ne parla plus que du somptueux “Festin grec chez Aspasie” qui avait cout\u00e9, disait-on plus de 60 000 francs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce souper marqua tellement les esprits que Louis XVI en personne reprocha les d\u00e9penses excessives de ce souper qui en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 n’avait cout\u00e9 que 20 francs<\/strong> \u00e0 la jeune peintre !<\/p>\n\n\n\n
