\n<\/span><\/span>Appel\u00e9 jadis H\u00f4tel de Mahuet<\/a><\/strong>, cette demeure appartenait au comte de Lupcourt qui y tenait au XVIIIe si\u00e8cle le salon litt\u00e9raire le plus couru de la r\u00e9gion. Le po\u00e8te Nicolas Gilbert<\/strong><\/a> y lira ses premiers vers avant de monter \u00e0 Paris.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

L’h\u00f4tel perdit probablement son tr\u00e8s beau porche au XXe si\u00e8cle lorsqu’il fut transform\u00e9 en cin\u00e9ma le Rio, cin\u00e9ma qui fut partiellement d\u00e9truit par un incendie en 1988. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Il ne reste aujourd’hui de ce qui fut jadis un haut lieu intellectuel, qu’une enveloppe relook\u00e9e bling bling, et un escalier allant vers le n\u00e9ant\u2026<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mais on peut toujours apercevoir (de l’arri\u00e8re cour), son immense fa\u00e7ade arri\u00e8re de style classique, alignant ses multiples fen\u00eatres, on peut aussi imaginer \u00e0 la place de l’escalator, le somptueux porche de Germain Boffrand qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9plac\u00e9 et remont\u00e9 \u00e0 l’entr\u00e9e du parc Olry !<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
